This is beautiful. I’m going through a very difficult pregnancy now and this gives me so much hope. Thank you for your vulnerability to share bc it really ministers!!
I'm sorry your pregnancy is a difficult one. It's so, so hard to navigate. Rest when and where you can. You're doing a great job (even if you don't feel like you are). Keep holding on to hope. I stopped to pray for you just now!
Thank you for sharing this Ebenezer and the radiance of God’s kindness. He speaks to me in rainbows sometimes too. The first photo looks like a monochromatic rainbow, which moves into shades of fushia and deep pinks. We too have seen those rainbows that are so vibrant they are “burned” into your vision and those that stay and stay and stay beyond what seems likely or possible. He is faithful. He is so intentional. I’m so glad for you. I hope for His promises for you. ❤️❤️❤️
What a beautiful and personal gift from God. I've had a couple of my own moments like that...where I just knew there was Divine thought behind the gifts. Always during hard times, always when I needed the reminder that He sees me and is Here. Now. And, oh my goodness with the SEVEN years later you getting another rainbow. A number representing wholeness and perfection in Scripture. What a beautiful reminder that even when we are experiencing this broken world... God is working for our wholeness, our Shalom.
"He sees me and is Here. Now." Yes, that! And I also thought it being specifically on her seventh birthday. It's never happened before then so that made it all the more special.
So beautiful. God is so good and so personal! Thank you for opening your heart and letting us inside, and bearing witness of His faithfulness. May God continue to bless you!
My writing has become a spiritual discipline too bear witness to what God is doing, the good and the hard. Thank you for receiving it with such kind words, Sarah!
Wow! I cried reading this. I've been wrestling with how hard things turn out faces towards the One who made us to endure them...all while He gently guides us through it and paints beauty to remind us of His nature. And if we pay close attention, we can see how beautiful that season truly is.
I'm glad to know this post met you where you're at and touched your heart in that way, Stephanie. I don't know if I'll ever NOT wrestle with the duality of living in this beautiful, broken world. And yes, God does promos to guide and be with us in it. It's messy and miraculous all at once.
Amen.

Chills and gentle tears and such beauty and wonder, faithfulness and healing.
Love you and your tender, genuine heart as big as the whole wide sky. 😘

Thank you for reading and sharing such a tender comment on it. He is faithful and intentional. Discipling myself to write about it helps me remember.
